What a nose ! First, notes of green olives and capers, which then give way to smoky notes. In the mouth, it’s an invitation to travel. We sail with a profile close to some Savanna’s, to finish on a Caroni profile, passing through the typical notes of Fiji rums. The olive gives way to intense notes on the white wax and gunpowder, then the finale notes take us on oily basis of tar and very ripe mango. What intensity ! A confusing journey.

FLAVOUR PROFILE

A sensual and elegant nose on salted caramel butter and hot brioche from the oven notes. On the palate, the profile resembles certain cognacs with exotic notes.

There are notes of passion fruit, Mirabelle, plum and vineyard peach accompanied by notes of brioche and toasted bread. The long but delicate finish brings us to notes of nectarine and licorice stick. Delicate as you wish.

A bold blend with an evolving profile, with the meeting of two very different worlds. The result is surprising: there is both character and sweetness, fat with dried notes, a pastry side with more herbaceous notes. As you can understand, we are in contradiction. A nose on notes of tiramisu soaked in solvent. On the palate, the attack is full of roundness, with black forest cherries, then it is full of surprises, with spices and a Timut pepper which tales a lot of spaces. On the finish, ripe persimmon is involved, accompanied by herbaceous and more earthy notes, while subtly discovering a more coffee note. It is complex, deep and has a very good length. A confusing rum!

This exceptional rum has spent 19 years in barrels in Marie Galante’s cellar, before being put in Dame Jeanne for 2 years, which gives it all its elegance. On the nose, mirabelle plum and plum intertwine with a slight liquorice. On the palate, a spicy woodiness accompanies throughout the tasting the notes of quince marmalade, candied lemon, black cherry and a feeling of mocha bringing a nice richness. The silky finish lets notes of morello cherries coated in a dark chocolate coating linger over Time.

Very intense aromatic palette with very strong tropical fruit, toasted wood and shell nose. Despite its age, there is still a lot of freshness and strength once in the mouth.

Ripe, creamy tropical fruit delicately line the full mouth with a slightly tart tension brought by the harlequin candy.

Notes of nuts and toasted almonds sneak in at times. All these aromas arise like velvet with sweet, subtly toasted notes. There is a slight green olive finish.
