A family story
BORN IN 2019, FAMILLE RICCI.
AS A PRODUCER AND MASTER RUM BLENDER, BECAME PART OF THE BOTTLER INDUSTRY.
Based in Mougins, the capital of the culinary arts in the south of France, our family business has settled its barrels in the 50-year-old owned family house. Our wish is to share our passion by creating for you vintages that are meant to be tasted and enjoyed during special, pleasurable and intimate moments. Famille Ricci a house of quality
Eager to offer quality vintages, Famille Ricci sources spirits from multiple origins in order to select the best mature alcohols best reflecting the know-how of each distillery and revealing the aroma specific to each region.
The blending process, a task we particularly cherish, takes place once the spirits have reached their full maturity.
Unique Expertise
The alcohols received are already distilled. We then use our know how to create our blend.
Once the distilled rum arrives, we carry out a second aging in our different wooden barrels, manufactured by the famous high-quality «La tonnellerie Navarre », with a classic and innovative toasting.
Once the rums are fully matured, we proceed with the blending. As soon as this process is finished, we reduce the alcohol in a careful and slow process in order to obtain the wanted degree.
Finally, after a stabilization period, we are ready to manually bottle the rum in our family cellar.
